August/Landscape

Wow, what an eventfully day for photography! It started off with the Eclipse and ended up with a magnificent sunset!  I just jumped in my car and conveintly drove down to the river access near my house. It was such a peacful moment as if the sun said goodnight world and thank you for all the attention. God's beauty for sure.

American River

I could not capture it's brillance  as seen through the naked eye. I was so excited that I forgot to switch my cameras settings, so I learn as I go . These were my favorite shots though.

Twice a flock of geese flew over and again, to excited to check my settings on my lens. The colors of the sunset are still there.  These images are really true to life with no adjustments in saturation or color.

You will not beleive me when I say that this picture was taken at the same time as the first one. The directional difference of the sun causes it to look much brighter. Again this picture has some major focusing issues but i'm not perfect and this is why we have Photography challenges to help us grow as Photographers.

Next challenge is called from a distance. Similar to landscape I guess , we shall see.
